Kris Barras Band

Day 2 at the Rock and Blues bike festival.

The weather took a turn for the worse and the rain set in, showers, heavy at times, dogged us all day ... so we stayed at home til about 4pm!

There were a few bands I wanted to see, 2 of them on the Outdoor Stage. Somebody’s god loves me as the rain cleared up just as the first of the bands outside began. They were The Rising Souls and I don’t know where I’d heard of them from, probably Planet Rock, but I was glad I’d got to see them.

Next on was the Kris Barras Band, who I have definitely heard on P.R. but not seen ... well, now I’ve seen him and will be going again! They were fab!

I thought I wanted to see Gun, playing in the Main Tent, but couldn’t leave Kris! In the event I saw the last half of their set, but was disappointed, not what I thought they would be like.

However, the closing act of the weekend was well worth the wait. They were The Dead Daisies and they were blummin fantastic, but I was too far away to get any decent photos of them. Anyway, I had wanted to photograph some of the tattoos today but people had got more clothes on, due to the weather. Luckily, Kris stepped up to the mic in all his tattooed glory!
