Saying Goodbye

The hardest part of seeing old friends is having to say goodbye. We set off mid morning for a very long trip home. We managed to do it with just one stop off which was a miracle and Joe's brilliant knowledge of the major roads of the Midlands was what saved us. We got home in good time to help the Connells move a chair and they very kindly cooked us dinner which was a God send as my feet swelled and I had no food in the house.
