Taxi drivers strike

In Barcelona taxi drivers are on strike. We had to walk to Placa Espana to get shuttle-bus to airport. It was not that bad.

During strike taxis parked in the middle of main road of the city. No violence, no police attack, no tear gas...In Turkey workers can not defend their rights in this way. Absolutely no way...How would be the reaction in your country in case of such a strike?
