Pret a porter

Well not quite ready to wear but I completed bodice and sleeve blocks on the second of my 2-day pattern drafting course.
Some of it was challenging, not least the measuring and the maths, but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole weekend in the company of tutor @victoriaseraphina and the other ladies on the course.
Here is the mannequin wearing my toile
which is a close fitting garment made exactly to my size.
One of the other ladies , Bronwen, is actually a milliner with a studio in the Market Place building. She makes the most amazing hats but to my disappointment she wasn’t wearing one today. That may well be a blip for another day.
