Today was the big day!

The Allotment show!

After almost ten weeks of sunshine and heat we were almost drowned yesterday in the preparations.

Disaster almost happened .. the wind and rain almost took out my beautiful sweet corn and toppled our bean tower! We carried out repairs and everything looks great again.

We submitted in several sections and came up with a lovely load of 1st 2nds and thirds. I also got presented with a rosette for Best In show. But figured pretty quickly they had mixed my number with someone else’s! Flower arrangements were never my thing :)


All In all a lovely haul. And a kitchen full of veggies
