11.11.12. Rainbow over the memorial.
Day started with teacakes and the minutes silence - which was ended quite poignantly by the cannon from Mossley Memorial.
We headed for a lovely autumn walk. As we got to Greenfield we spotted a beautiful rainbow over the war memorial on the top of Pots and Pans. The memorial was built in 1923 and can be seen from the villages in Saddleworth (and Mossley)
The rainbow seemed seemed very apt and we decided that we would make the walk to the top of the hill for the Remembrance Day service next year.
I pretty much said everything that I wanted to say last year - click on the little pic.
Glad to have my girls back home tonight.
As always - and especially today, peace x
