Joe and the triffids!

Actually, it’s not a triffid. It’s a cucamelon which is a cross between, surprise, surprise, a cucumber and a melon. It is meant to produce small tasty fruit the size of grapes.
I planted the seeds and it just keeps growing and growing. I think it’s rather impressive to look at.
I haven't blipped a photo of Joe for a couple of months and I think he has been feeling a bit “left out” so here he is.
I took this photo about 11 a.m when the day was breezy but lovely blue skies.
I’m blipping this an hour later and the skies are now grey and the rain has started.
