twiglets...

...and what a twiggy thrill, and surprise, to find them in the local supermarket.
Perhpas they should be known as La Brindille as the twiglet was invented by French biscuit maker J Ronadalin a manager at Peak Freans' Bermondsey factory who added brewer's east to leftover Vitawheat dough!
Unlike Mr Bean who had his own twiglet version involving  snipped tree twigs flavoured with marmite! there was Worcestershire Sauce variety too BUT the original is a classic and not to be fiddled with!
