I went up to the West End for a yoga session - the buses were all going even more slowly than usual. Partly due to the number of visitors getting on at each stop and having to be told that, no, you can't pay with contactless on the Embra buses. And partly due to the fact that Leith Street has finally reopened, after almost a year of closure. According to the wifie on the Leith Walk omnibus, John Lewis were celebrating being reasonably accessible again by giving a half bottle of Prosecco to anyone presenting a bus ticket!

Of course, the area is still in relative uproar, traffic-wise, due to the re-modelling of Picardy Place.
