A Substitute For Sun

For the first time in weeks, we've hardly seen the sun all day. The upside of this was that the outdoor pool was emptier than it's been all season and we were able to swim lengths unimpeded.

This afternoon, we kept up the exercise theme with a bike ride (admittedly involving a visit to Aldi to replenish the gin stocks), during which I spotted a row of sunflowers obviously deliberately planted on the side of the road between Street and Glastonbury.

Thought this one provided a bit of colour amongst the cloudiness. We got rained on on the way back which was rather refreshing.
