Cadair Berwyn

Whether climbing a mountain is a good thing to do on a hot day or not was the question and despite it being a little warmer than usual on the ascent the 18 degrees on top of Cadair Berwyn was very pleasant.

It had been a long long time since last time I was up here and I had forgotten just how far up it was and what an amazing view there was to be had  including being able to see the mass of smoke coming from the wildfire that has currently closed the Horseshoe Pass.

In a rare moment of perfect timing we also managed to get back to the car at literally the moment the rain started wazzing down.
