Clouds

We got the predicted rain this morning and heavy it was too but it wasn't long before the sun was back.

Crossing Bingley Moor on our way to Guiseley for some shopping, I was struck by the cloud formations. We didn't stop until we were coming back. Here, by the Gallops of Sue (Harvey) Smith's with Weecher reservoir in the background, you can see them building up over Baildon Moor. I was convinced it would soon be raining again.

But it was four hours later before we got the thunder and the further heavy downpour. By then I'd got all my washed bedding out and dried. (Should have been done before we went away!)

More to come tomorrow, we believe, so the pots can be left without watering for a while.
