Arthur dreaming & the garden at Oswaldtwistle Mill

We have been blessed with rain showers and as I type this, there is a wonderful downpour. The temperature is 25c, so it feels a bit unsettling and as I am pouring sweat, still quite an effort to get tasks done.
Paul did our shopping while I sorted things out at home.
Then we went on a short car journey to The Works in Oswaldtwistle Mills.
I bought a diary, notebook and two pens.
Paul decided we needed a new set of towels, and seeing as Musbury Fabrics had a sale on, we bought coffee coloured and sage green towels.
The sun was warm and not too hot while we were there, so there was time for a stroll around the garden to see the black swans, ducks and geese.
The little Love Bird, top right was in an aviary in the garden with many chirpy budgies.
Mum in Croydon, had a thunderstorm and some rain.
It has been a sweltering 36c there.

I have never been happier to see it pouring with rain, and may it continue until the rivers , lakes and reservoirs are up to the right level.

Arthur seems to be eating better today and sleeping in one of his favourite places.

Have a lovely day blip friends and thanks for visiting my journal today.
