Let the Wookie win...

It's a very funny sensation when your voice isn't working. I seem to have picked up a funny chesty phlegmy thing. The sort that feels like a big lump that is close to loosening just below your neck but essentially doesn't manage to.

My voice seems to be okayish in mid/normal parameters, but if I try to raise it above normal talking level, I go into a squeek. If I go below normal talking level, it comes out in almost a growl (I do a good Christian Bale Batman like that).

I've had to squeek at the kids a fair bit today which hasn't helped.
