insect hunt
The photographer friends of Jean we met the other day, actually they are the son and SiL of her retired zoologist friend have started me on a new type of photography - insects. Its great fun. I am useless at id'ing them but I am sure blippers will help me with that.
Here I think we have a hawk moth, 2 sorts of damselfly, a gatekeeper, and swallow tail. I would love to know more accurate names.
In the evening we went to a pub quiz with Brit expats and holiday makers, great fun, nice buffet included and we came a respectable 3rd.
We arrived home in time to watch the eclipse of the moon, a wonderful experience.
