Up @ Sparras for Blood Moon....

......The boy was first up and excitited...J and I shurlped around.......when we looked out the window the sky was as clear as a bell...with a lovely big moon sitting in the dark sky.....just. A little to the right was a red dot ......Mars?
We didn’t have to go far either...the front garden was the perfect spot .......with a big fat cup of tea.

That was the start of a very busy day......we haven’t been home long so it is great that I already had my blip.....and I didn’t need to play around with it at all....this is straight out of the camera.
When the shadow had eaten the moon......I had to get my tripod and had to lower the speed to get that gorgeous red glow.
