Bath Time

Our airplants followed their long-haired big-brother hanging plants into the same bath water. The hanging plants had been in overnight, by mistake, but seem well revived . . . and didn’t drip at all when taken out.

The airplants could hardly conceal their excitement as I announced it was their bath time and took them up the 39 steps from the patio to the roof terrace. Top left, we have Hairy Harry and, on the bottom, Turnip Ted. Middle left is Flower Power (recently her flower withered and we pinched it off) and Lady Penelope, centre right . . . just christened this morning and clearly a Baptist. They will be in for a good twenty-four hours and then hung upside down to drip off before taking their place in the rockery, again.

PS
The water is about six inches deep. It was deeper before the big boys soaked half of it up.
