Old Store

The front of this old store (it's a building supply, hardware, plumbing, and electrical store) is owned by my 12 year old grandson's other grandparents.  They are letting him work there this summer as much as he wishes. He is learning so much about "the public" and math in that one of his main assignments is running a computer cash register in checking out customers.  We were there today before enjoying a meal and evening with him.  You can see by the reflections and store contents, there is real variety in this business and area.  The extra is shot showing a scene in front of the store.  The store has been operating for many years and was purchased by my grandson's great-grandfather from the original owner.  The man I am mentioning died years ago, so my grandson never knew him.  I did, and he was always so helpful with supplies and advice about any project I was trying to complete.
