Effects of the storm

At last - proper rain!
6.15 am - thunder, lightning and heavy rain.
5.00pm - tornado, followed by thunder and lightning and torrential rain - resulting in the bird bath being blown over and no electricity - just when I was going to make my tea! Fortunately I had the camping stove indoors - but the kettle is in the garage so I had to use a saucepan - but it boiled water OK.
The electricity was only off for 20 minutes and the rain continued all evening so I couldn't see the lunar eclipse  but I was lucky, at least one house in the village was struck by lightning.
