Last day of the heatwave, so took the girls to Crummock Water to cool down whilst I admired the scenery!   Was really hoping to see the blood moon tonight, but it was hiding behind the clouds.  Was gutted as have seen the moon every night this week.  Never mind as instead I was treated to an electric storm across the Solway.  The lightening to start with was pink.  Have never seen pink lightening before.  It was extremely mesmerising and I couldn't tear myself away until it was very dark.
