Clouds 1 : Lunar Eclipse 0

Typical !!! The cloud cover means that the chances of seeing this evening's eclipse are slim to non-existent. Although  the rain is welcome, the timing is pretty rubbish - why couldn't we have had one of those lovely, clear nights that we have had over the last few weeks? I won't be in the least bit surprised if it's cloudy again when the Perseid meteor shower is due :-(

Meanwhile, a small sprig of lavender - one of the few survivors of my tender loving neglect - for flower Friday.
