A very special birthday!

50 years ago Ro and I had our first child !  So much has happened since!  

We went miles away, over an hour by car to the other side of Dachstein to a high cable car which took half the family over a glacier.  Unfortunately I arrived too late and the price was as steep as the slopes so we stayed at the bottom and had some lunch.

Then we went to the huge toboggan but again we stopped at the bottom!  Ro does not appreciate the hairpin bends close to mountain edges!  Finally rather than follow on to watch the zip lines we made our way home!  

6:00 and we made our way to the restaurant for our last meal all together this holiday!  We are due to leave first tomorrow morning!
