It's raining!

I know it is only about six weeks since we had rain, but it was quite exciting when eventually the raindrops came splattering down. We didn't have much, but it has cleared the air, and we are hoping for more overnight.
We have Jake and George staying for the weekend. Their mother volunteered them to do some gardening for us, and they made a good start before tea time, and then the rain came. It will be great if they can make an impression on the more overgrown areas. (We've sacked the expensive gardener!)
While the boys are gardening, their parents (son Jem and d.i.l Mikki) have jetted off to Corfu!
