Purple Loosestrife

There was a large area of purple loosestrife growing alongside one of the walking paths--I spotted it yesterday and we came back today so I could take some pictures. Another windy day, so a challenge to try to get any of them in focus, but I'm not complaining as the day is perfect!! We opened all the windows wide this morning to let the fresh air blow through the house; it's 72 degrees (F) with almost no humidity, & with that breeze it's just hard to get a more gorgeous day than this one!  To top it off, one of my brothers called to say his daughter has just gotten engaged! We all like her boyfriend very much, & are thrilled for them!  :))
