A Blast from the Past.

This morning I was at Mum's and had a look for something in Dad's old Summerhouse. In there I found this incredible old radio. Dad bought this in the Summer of 1964, it came from Heelas (now John Lewis) and he brought it back in its box whilst on his moped. It was used for years as the kitchen radio and has had more than its fair share of icing sugar and flour nearer than recommended! In latter years, Dad used it in the garden and in his Summer house. I tried it this morning and it still works! Not bad for a 54 year old radio!
