End of an era!

Today is a very sad day as we had to say goodbye to Zilla.

She’s been a great dog for the last 8 years but unfortunately illness got her.

It was only a month ago we were saying how well she was doing but after snapping her cruciale ligament chasing another dog the vets did some senior screening to see if she would be suitable for an operation but that was when they found some masses in her lung and stomach.

Literally a month to the day from her hurting her knee, we had to put her down. She took a turn overnight and she started panting heavily and shivering, the vets predicted one of the masses had ruptured.

Have been browsing Blipfoto to look at all of the puppy photos I posted when I was a regular blipper.

This photo was the only one I had of her from today.
