Happy little traveller

The Gustavos are now journeying back to Scotland on the ferry. It has been so lovely to have them here.

The visit was touched by sadness as one of their very best friends died. His funeral was here in Belfast so it was good that they were on hand for that. R was such a great young man, who sadly succumbed to cancer last Sunday at just 29 years old. It was a privilege to know him and he had just agreed to be godfather to the lovely wee sprout in the photo (my granddaughter).

We have such lovely memories of time in his company.

Our house seems very quiet now that the Gussies have left. Roll on October and the next family get-together!
