Watering the plants

My blip shows Mr hazelh engaged in his summer nightly routine, doing the rounds in our front yard. He watered the plants quite late this evening because we have been out for a curry at Zest with Katharine and Jack. This was a very jolly and long-overdue get-together. We had a lot of catching up to do since we last saw one another on 28th May.

My main achievement of the day was to 'crack' the programme for my module next semester. I'm teaching a bigger and more mixed set of students in 2018/19. This has necessitated a number of changes to both the content and the mode of delivery for my teaching.

The news from the hospital was better today, but there is still no talk of release for the inmate. I hope to see him tomorrow evening when we return to my parents' house for weekend daughter duties.
