Pheasants Crossing

Scotland v New Zealand

So the day has come, Scotland facing the best rugby team in the world, the mighty All Blacks!

Started the day with the breakfast of champions, haggis, neeps and tatties and a pint of cider, then met up with everyone to walk to Murrayfield (or should I say march, with the drums and bagpipes it did feel like we were going into battle)!

The game was sold out and the atmosphere was amazing (although it was FREEZING, thank goodness for my hipflask) and we even managed to score 3 tries (with an unlucky decision for my old classmate Matt Scott, whose try was disallowed)!

Unfortunately we lost, but against Dan Carter, the one man points machine, we didn't really stand a chance!
