shades of grey

It has been my experience that rendering images into black and white while exposing blemishes, can also highlight interesting features. It allows me to step back from the initial impact made by colour and see the essence often concealed beneath the surface.
Like in life, I need to see beneath the surface of people I meet, to their essence, their soul...lest I judge them solely on image.
