Farewell

Today we had to say goodbye to Khan. He was our son’s family dog and was a gentle giant. He was one of the two flacoats that featured in our blip journal. He had only been ill for a few days but the CT scan revealed a brain tumour on Monday and he went downhill so fast. Maisie is completely lost without him. The homestead quiet.
It is C’s birthday tomorrow and they have a big party planned in the garden with friends coming from the UK to stay. Today preparations continued but everyone feels so very sad.
