The heat dome

Record-breaking heat is scorching us, today it was 22th hot day (>25°C) in Pirkkala this summer and 4th day when temperature hit over 30°C. Last summer we had 0 hot days! 

We bought and cleaned 20 litres strawberries to our freezer today. In the evening we picked up Emma by boat from her (3 hour) training, we met her in Alaranta. On the way to Turri harbour we anchored the boat next to Lehtisaari island and went swimming. It was wonderful to spend evening by the lake - it wasn't hot and sunset was beautiful.
