The Black Faced Sheep

The Black Faced Sheep is a cafe and gift shop in Aboyne about thirty miles west of Aberdeen. This was our choice for a Sunday Brunch. The front room of the cafe was full when we arrived, so we sat at a table in the back room. Empty at the time I took this photograph it filled up shortly afterwards.

The gift shop is a treasure trove of odds and ends. Many of the items are quite expensive, I have seldom purchased anything more exotic than a greetings card. Great care has to be taken walking around as some items seem ready to catch the unwary. The weather was sunny but cool, and became even cooler towards the evening. We had a brisk walk after brunch and then retired to the warmth of my courtesy car.
