Mirabellenbaum

I came home, stepped on the balcony to check on the tomatoes and there was this noise...
At least one big branch broke off the Mirabellenbaum. I was surprised how loud it was. I wonder if it's the heat, the draught or last weekends storm or a combination of all (the plum tree looks the same - happened during that storm). The tree is located in a corner of the Kindergarten and I kind of have to look around the corner to see it. If I hadn't been on the balcony I would not have noticed right away. The Kindergarten is on holidays, so no one might have noticed until the week after next.
The poor tree may have to be cut down - dangerous for playing children.
