Guilty but gorgeous
I spied this young eastern cottontail hopping around my brother's garden in our back garden. Precious, but up to no good.
The three House Wren babies are so ready to fledge, pushing each other around in the ridiculously tiny nest which is really a decoration. They vie for turns hanging out looking and squawking for their parents. From dawn to dusk, those two are catching and delivering bugs to them. The babies seem to be never satisfied and the parents are so determinedly dedicated to fill them up.
We have a paper wasp nest by our main entry door, they were busy while we were in Maine. I bought some spray, butI'm thinking we might have to hire an expert if I'm not brave or crazy enough to spray them. If they were not so close to the door we would let them be, but it would be very easy for more than one to get in the house just as we are going in and out.
