Miss E

A million degrees again today. It's so damn hot!!!!
Rather than spend the day in the garden having someone fan me and bring ice cold cocktails I spent the day tidying the house and sorting the mountains of clothes/papers/miscellaneous crap everywhere. 
We have a cleaner coming on Wednesday and there's no way she can clean at the moment because there's so much crap everywhere!
As I tidied I became more and more horrified at the amount of dirt, dust, fluff balls. hairballs, tea stains etc etc etc which became more and more apparent. 
But it's looking tidier than it has since we moved in!!
While I was slaving away Mr K took the Little Misses to Oxford. Miss E has had Blackwell's vouchers since her birthday and has been desperate to go and spend them. She LOVES Blackwell's!
They had a fabulous day by the looks of it. Pizza for lunch, Blackwell's, WHSmith, a few hours in the Ashmolean, and Leon's for dinner. 
This photo of Miss E eating her pizza - obviously taken by Mr K rather than me - took me aback when he sent it to me. I thought it was me for a minute!!
Obviously with fewer wrinkles and grey hairs!!
People have always said she looks like me but it's not often I'm so struck by it.
