Drove home to Seattle tonight .. almost there......loved the AC in the new car,(!). figured out the music ( sort of) and Maple was a good doggie.... but so excited to see her family !! Look at that tail wag! I don’t know who was more excited... Tatum is at camp and worried that Maple won’t know where she is... but Maple has been writing her letters so I think it will be ok. It was a long time for us with Maple... we love her but the “routine” for 3 weeks was harder...

Seal pup report: Did not see her last night or this morning ... encouraging... but as we were leaving, mid afternoon, there she was hanging out at the float eating seaweed. I just don’t know. She looked OK. And we may never know how she fares... there is hardly anyone nearby to check on her...we’ll be gone 5 days...oh dear....(extra)
