Harvest time

A camera club walk about to catch some summery images in the village of Hillesden.

On the way home I noticed this blaze of light as a farmer bales up the straw following the combine harvesting of the cereal crop.

Straw will probably be valuable this year as the grass has stopped growing and the sheep and cattle farmers need fodder for their livestock.
