Daylily Gold

This is my favourite daylily that is blooming among the oregano.
It is an in-between blip... that is between rain showers. Not a lot of brilliant light for this flower today.
The colour is usually so bright you can see the flower blooming half a block away. It will be producing for some time judging by the number of blooms waiting.
Flies are licking moisture off the petals.

Funny weather for us: 72ºF (20ºC) when I woke this morning. The nights do not cool down very well.

And it is exceptionally humid. The on & off rains do not seem to cool things off... just steam things up. I heard that a cold front is moving in tonight.
Also, the Flash Flood Alert has turned to Warnings. I think that is the next stage of an Alert.
