Leaker!

This is the 3 month old Annex M compliant gas bottle regulator I fitted on the boat to replace the ancient Camping Gaz one which doesn't have a relief valve.
Last trip out we caught a whiff of gas in the cockpit so isolated at the cylinder every time we used the cooker.
We are off next week so I went down today and checked it out - it is leaking though the relief valve. The supplier is sending me another one. So will see how long that lasts.
About 50 years of caravanning, camping and boating and never had a gas leak.
The relief valve is there in case the primary regulator fails and overpressurises the gas pipes and appliances, this is almost unheard of, the regulators are extremely reliable.
Once again a solution for a problem that doesn't exist.
