Goodbye, and tanks for everything
The old and troublesome gas tank has gone. The men came this morning to take it away and replace it with the new one so that should be the end of our heat-related gas leak problems. The new one is shorter but taller than the old one and has a higher capacity which will be useful given we've just replaced our old solid fuel stove with a gas fire. It holds 1410 litres, designed for 18.7 Bar but tested to 23, and is safe in a temperature range from 47.5C down to -40C.
W says it's a nice colour and matches the house.
