Siblings

Pepper met her brother Ted today and they seemed to get on well together.
We used to take Corrie for hydrotherapy sessions which kept her legs and knees in good condition for an older dog - in fact, we were both amazed at how 20 minutes swimming once every two weeks made all the difference to her mobility.  Hamilton's Hydrotherapy is run by the lovely and lively Lynne Hamilton who is soon to relocate down near Ashford in Kent.  We decided to take Pepper for a couple of swim sessions with Lynne before she moves even though we hope it will be a long time before Pepper really needs it.  I can't honestly say that Pepper enjoyed it! (see extra) but she did very well for a first swim. Corrie didn't enjoy it either but needed it so we kept going.

Next door to the hydrotherapy unit is another small business where Ted lives. Ted is a border collie the same age as Pepper and came from the same village as Pepper.  When we met Ted and owner it turns out (we were not surprised) that Ted and Pepper are brother and sister.  Ted is a lovely dog and they played together for a bit and were quite comfortable with being close.  Pepper has another swim session in a few weeks' time so maybe they will meet up again.
