Unfurling sunflower

Woke up early today to put the bin out and would you believe it, it rained ! Very unexpected, for the second time in these heat wave weeks. It even kept on raining, though lightly, for more than two hours. The garden will benefit ! And it was most refreshing, certainly after temperatures above 30 C yesterday. See the wet cherry tree in the extras. It's pretty sunny and warm now again (Mau's birthday balloon, which I had put in the bouquet at the side window, actually exploded from the heat/sun just now !) The sunflower is one of my seedlings, finally a sunflower in bloom after the most promising ones suddenly fainted and died at the end of June before blooming.
