Bus Stop

This one deserves an explanation.  The City of Albuquerque just completed a new city bus system for the downtown area.  Called ART (Albuquerque Rapid Transit), it requires riders to cross the street and enter the new electric bus(s) from the MIDDLE of the street.  Riders wait for the bus under a protective canopy in the middle of the street and step into the bus after it stops.  Extremely expensive to build, it has the community in an uproar.  This is a view from the sidewalk looking to the middle of the street.
