Self Indulgent

On the first official day of my school holidays I took myself on the train to Bath to have my Book Spa session from Mr B's Book Emporium.

I warmed up with a trip to the Dutch Masters exhibition at the Holbourne museum, to prove to myself I could still do culture. Very good it was too, although the food in the cafe (shown here) did not quite match the amazing setting.

Then off to Mr B's where I had my Book Spa - 90 minutes of tea, cake and book recommendations. I came away with about 7 from a list of 19 and can be safely assured of reading something new this summer.

Back on the train via Temple Meads and a chat with my neighbour who just happened to be on the same train.
