Those of you that have boisterous labradors will know that sinking feeling on spotting an old dead carcass whilst out with them !! Exocet missiles have nothing on them as they streak to lt intent on having a good smelly roll:-((
But this time their headlong rush took them straight, past this lovely little hare who had the good sense to jug down and sit perfectly still :-)
Foregoing my usual stenatorian “GET OUT OF THAT!! PUT THAT DOWN !!” to the dogs, I sidled up to her and took a couple of quick photos and wished her “Good morning ....don’t worry I ll deal with THEM!”
And retrieved two smelly dogs and led them away so that she could go back to her quiet moorland life :-)
