Garden paradise

My inlaws were visiting, and last Christmas they got a visit to Flor & Fjære as their present.
Now we would go and see that famous garden on the north side of an island outside Stavanger. After a 20 minute boat ride we were shown around by the granddaughter of the gardner that started the whole because he got sick and needed to stay calm and away from the city. But he got bored and started to expand and construct more and more, although all the neighbourhood told him "nothing will grow on that part of the island".
Some 30 years later, his son runs the garden and the restaurant and that part of the island has its own microclimate due to well placed trees.
The visit was a real treat and both Lars, me and the inlaws were really happy
