After work I cycled into town to Halfords to get some bike lights and some exercise after a challenging windowless day. I rang craggyt to see if he fancied a swift half before I headed back home for my tea. 
It wasn't a swift half. After chewing the fat tea was at 10! Ooops....Luckily I had lights! Briefly felt like a youngster again, looking out for the chippy ....

Inspired by Arachne I have been thinking and talking a little about things abstract. I had a windowless image for today which was definitely abstract but was more interested in trying to convey the abstract idea of a bike ride after work and a visit to a local hostelry just as yesterday I had wondered about conveying the abstract idea of an evening walk. This doesn't achieve any of that and I didn't even end up 'in the drink' here. I tried merging some composite images of the late light and views along the way but that didn't work either ... just became a rather surreal hotchpotch.
