And not a green as it should be. If you look carefully you will see the not so green field on the Mendip hills. An unusual sight as normally this whole area would be greeen.

As those of you who follow me you will know that Mr Tbay loves his lawns and is frequently pictured mowing them. Not this year. Our lawns are brown and crisp and he has not had to mow anything for days now. There maybe a little rain towards the end of the week. Fingers crossed.

The news of the terrible fires in Greece bring home the dangers of the tinder dry conditions to us all. I do so feel for the families who have lost loved ones.

Farming - Rusty still on gardening duties. Two on compost hauling.

I had another day on book work which as it is so hot outside it is not a bad occupation currently. I open the window and get a good breeze going though so it’s not too bad. A few more days to complete last years accounts.
