Japanese Maple

We've been having a lot of rain - which is good, because it was very dry - so I ducked out for a moment between downpours to take a quick EB. And then I had a bit of a play with it in Photoshop.

This is a bit of a small volunteer Japanese maple tree that came up several years ago from a seed tossed out from our much larger Japanese maple that came with the house when we bought it in 1981. It was in a reasonable spot, so I left it - and put a tomato cage around it until it was large enough to fend for itself a couple of years ago.

Meanwhile - I got the photo all uploaded and it announced that the file was too big. Seriously? Back to the drawing board - and here it is a little less fiddled with. Pfft.
